UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs                                             

His Highness Sheikh Abdulla Bin Zayed Al Nahyan is the UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the UAE National Media Council since 2006.

 

His Highness Sheikh Abdulla has held many key official positions including the chairmanship of the Emirates Media Corporation in 1999, VP of the Emirates Foundation in 2005 and Vice Chairman of Abu Dhabi Fund for Development since 31 December 2005. He is also a member of the Higher National Council of Security and Vice President of the borders permanent committee.

 

His Highness Sheikh Abdulla started his public involvement by serving as Undersecretary in the media and culture ministry between 1996 and 1997. He subsequently served as Minister of Communication and Culture until 2006 before assuming charge as Minister of External Affairs.

 

His Highness Sheikh Abdulla is a graduate in Political Sciences from the UAE University in Al Ain.
