Major Staff General Ali Mohammed Subaih Al Kaabi has held various positions in the UAE Armed Forces and is currently serving as the Deputy Chief of Staff for the UAE Armed Forces.

Al Kaabi graduated from the US Army's War College and continued his studies in international affairs (Master's Degree) in Salva Regina University in the USA.

He has completed many military courses and participated in numerous academic seminars in the UK and in Italy.  Hi is a graduate of the military language school in Texas-USA, where he majored in English.

Major Staff General Ali Mohammed Subaih Al Kaabi is highly decorated, with medals and honorary decorations including a service award from the Omani Coast Force, The Abu Dhabi Defense Force medal, the Kuwait Liberation Medal, the 20 years’ excellent service medal, the silver jubilee medal of the UAE, the NATO medal, the Kosovo medal, The officer's merit award from France, the peace keeping force medal and leader's medal from the UK as well as the Jazira Shield Force decoration and the medal of command from Kweta-Pakistan.
