Invitation for Bids: Ash Landfill Cell and Associated Infrastructure – Addu City, Maldives
The Republic of Maldives, with financing from the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD), invites eligible contractors to submit bids for the Design and Construction of an Ash Landfill Cell and Associated Infrastructure for the Waste-to-Energy Plant at the South Regional Waste Management Facility in Hithadhoo, Addu City.
The tender will be conducted through International Competitive Bidding (ICB) in accordance with ADFD’s procurement guidelines. Eligible bidders must be registered under the National Contractors Registry (NCR) in grades GC02-01 to GC02-07.

- Registration period: 20 August – 19 October 2026
- Pre-bid meeting: 3 September 2026 at 10:00 AM (online)
- Clarification deadline: 10 September 2026 at 1:00 PM Maldives Time
- Bid submission deadline: 21 October 2026 at 1:00 PM Maldives Time
Bidding documents are available free of charge from 20 August 2026 on the Ministry of Finance and Public Enterprises website. A bid security of USD 5,000 is required.
