ADFD took part in the 36th ministerial meeting of OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID) as part of the UAE delegation.
Held in Vienna, the meeting was attended by finance ministers and senior officials from OFID member states who discussed the latest developments, achievements, and the development of a new strategic plan for OFID for the next year.
The meeting reviewed a report submitted by the Chairman of OFID Governing Council, and approved the Fund action plan for international development in 2015 , 2016. Additionally, it approved of a report on grants provided by OFID to countries including Kyrgyzstan, Nicaragua, Palestine and Sierra Leone.
