Albashir Hospital
For the Jordanian government, developing the healthcare sector is a top priority, and the improvement of services offered to patients of Al Bashir Hospital was integral to this commitment. Abu Dhabi Fund for Development contributed to funding the expansion and improvement of Al Bashir Hospital which is the largest of the Ministry of Health’s hospitals, with an 800 bed capacity and a 240,000 square meter area. The hospital is located east of Amman in a densely populated area that includes a majority of low-income workers. Patients are also transferred from all general hospitals in Jordan to Al Bashir Hospital.
