Algarb Agricultural
The West Agricultural Plain project aimed to improve the well-being of residents, achieve self-sufficiency in agricultural production, and increase job opportunities through utilizing arable land. This project led to a transformation from rain farming to irrigation in a 45,500 hectare area north of Rabat city. It included the building of irrigation and sewage networks, electrical wiring, pumping stations, and purchase of essential equipment.
