Construction of a Fishing Port and an Ice Factory
Abu Dhabi Fund for Development financed a project to develop a fishing port and an ice factory in Mauritania. Valued at AED23.8 million, the project increased the ability of fishermen to preserve fish, which would raise the sector’s export capacity. It also supports the operation of the Tanit fish processing plant. Additionally, the project includes installation of a 150sqm boat repair and maintenance workshop and administrative offices, as well as provision of marine buoys and safety equipment.
