ADFD in coordination with the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, administered a grant of AED42 million to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), supporting their education development programme for Palestinian refugee children in the 2017-2018 academic year. Bolstering education and providing necessary learning materials, the grant will benefit approximately 15,000 children across 14 schools in Gaza. Moreover, this grant is being implemented within the framework of the UAE pledge at the donor conference held in Cairo on October 2014 for the Gaza Reconstruction Programme.
