Farmers Houses in Khatara
The project aimed to offer a decent life for farmers in Al Khatara by building 300 houses units and creating infrastructure such as internal roads, water and electricity networks, school and mosque. The farmers' housing project in Khatara was funded by grant from the Abu Dhabi government, under the management of ADFD, to be integrated with the efforts made by the Egyptian government to develop the rural areas and enhance the living standards of the peasants, in order to control their internal immigration from the countryside to the cities.
