Integrated Southern Ghurs Development
Water is essential to life and a vital component in developing many sectors. This is why the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development contributed to the funding of the comprehensive Southern Valleys project with a view to achieving sustainable development. The project was successful in providing water for different purposes like drinking, industry, tourism, irrigation, and to increase groundwater levels in Al-Heidan area (Al-Hassa, Mujib, and Al-Waleh Valleys).
