Khroub Dam
One of the most important strategic projects in the Moroccan water and irrigation sector is Khroub Dam, which provides water for drinking and irrigation to residents in Tangier and Asilah. The dam was constructed near the city of Tangier to capture and conserve rain water and water flowing from nearby valleys. The project included building a 60 meter high dam with a 200 million cubic meter capacity. It was funded by a UAE government grant and managed by ADFD in cooperation with the Moroccan government.
