Solar Penetration and Water Acess
The three innovative solar power projects comprise a PV-diesel hybrid plant on Peleliu Island, another PV-diesel hybrid plant on Angaur Island that powers a water treatment facility producing up to 50 cubic metres of clean water per day, and 100 solar home systems on Koror island. In total, they achieve fuel savings worth US$215,000 each year and reduce annual CO2 emissions by 596 tonnes.
