Fitted out with advanced technologies to control output and ensure the stability of the grid, the 500 kW photovoltaic plant meets up to 30 per cent of the island’s annual energy demand. The project saves 249,000 litres of diesel per year and reduces annual CO2 emissions by 631 tonnes.
