Support for Fiscal Balance Programme
The Fund contributed AED2.7 billion to the Bahraini government’s fiscal balance programme, aimed at stimulating economic growth and achieving a balance between the government revenues and expenditure by the end of 2022. The programme includes a range of initiatives to support the sustainability of public finances, thus enabling the Bahraini government to continue to implement development projects and attract foreign investment.
