Transportation Net Development
While supporting the process of development in Arab countries, in particular, and developing countries, in general, ADFD adopted an inclusive approach, which is evident in its interest in financing infrastructure projects that contribute to the promotion of various economic growth sectors and the improvement of living standards of the people. In line with this approach, the fund contributed to financing a project aimed at developing a dynamic transportation sector in Tunisia, in order to facilitate the movement of goods and people in different parts of the country. The project included the purchase of new transport equipment, renewal of a railway line between Tunisia and the marina, building and maintenance of workshops and provision of a number of locomotives for the railway network.
