ADFD initiative to support national companies       during Covid-19 pandemic

To help our UAE national companies overcome the most pressing challenges they face in the current economic climate caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, Abu Dhabi Fund for Development has launched a AED 1 billion loan program. The initiative will provide concessionary loans to eligible national companies that operate in different and sectors most affected by this pandemic to enable them keep operating and continue production.

Targeted Sectors

  • All companies that contribute to the
    food security sector in the UAE
  • Healthcare sector
  • Industrial sector
  • Businesses who are financially impacted
    and whose operations and activity have
    been disrupted by Covid-19.

How to apply

Companies who meet the above criteria and operate within the appropriate sectors can apply for financial assistance from ADFD.

Required Documents

  • A finance request letter stating the type of support needed
  • A valid trade license
  • Audited financial statements for the last 3 year
  • Details on the challenges facing the company due to the covid-19 pandemic
    (It doesn't apply to companies operating in the food security,
    health and industrial sectors.
  • An operational plan showing improved performance of the
    company in the next three years, and also detailing how
    financial support will help the company

Conditions for Application:

  • The national company must be registered within the UAE
  • Annual revenues should not be less than AED 150 million in the last 3 years
  • The total assets of the company are no less than AED 10 Million, as per the company’s 2019 financial statements
  • The company must provide an operational plan showing improved performance and strategic growth over the next 3 years

ADFD team will review your application once received, and will update you on the status in the process.
