Overview
The textile mill project aimed to increase fabric production from about 5.5 million meters to about 16.60 million meters. In line with the African Textile Factories Company’s expansion plan, the scope of project included factory improvement works as well as replacing and modernising old machines.
The works also included a comprehensive modernisation of the factory building, including the upgrading of air conditioning systems and water coolers, the replacement of old machines and equipment used in the spinning and weaving processes, as well supplementing necessary spare parts, in addition to appointing an administrative team to train employees and increase the factory’s capacity.
