Overview

The Fez-Oujda controlled-access highway is a strategic project in the Moroccan transportation sector intended to contribute to the improvement of services in the surrounding areas. Funded by ADFD, the 320km highway was constructed in only four years. It connected eastern areas in Morocco to major economic hubs in the country, like Fez, Casablanca, Tangier, and Marrakesh, while also improving road safety and reducing transportation costs.
