Overview
This solar power plant aims to supplement the agricultural project funded by ADFD in 2015. Not only will it support the agriculture sector through the production of electricity from renewable sources, but this solar power plant will help in reducing carbon monoxide emissions and the areas carbon footprint.
With 95 per cent of construction works already completed, the second phase of the project will supply and install a 10MWp solar power plant, generating electricity using 320Wp PV units. The project also includes construction, civil and electrical works, as well as establishing a network linking the power plant to the national grid.
