As provision of comprehensive healthcare services has become a top priority on the global development agenda, Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) has taken a keen interest in supporting this sector to achieve economic and social well-being of communities in beneficiary countries.
The support includes the provision of state-of-the-art medical and treatment facilities that help advance sustainable development goals.
ADFD extended significant support to the Government of Maldives through financing projects that aim to improve the quality of health services provided to its citizens and helping the country meet the increasing demand for various medical and treatment services. This support enabled the Government of Maldives to provide quality treatment services to its citizens in line with the highest international standards, while fulfilling its sustainable development goals in healthcare sector.
The support included the provision of necessary medical equipment and supplies to hospitals and medical centers, delivering a positive impact on Maldives’ healthcare sector and enhancing the quality of services provided to patients.
