Overview

Abu Dhabi Fund for Development is committed to supporting economic and social development and improving the water sector in Argentina. As part of this commitment, ADFD contributed to the project, which aims to establish integrated water stations equipped with advanced systems and technologies, and to restore and expand water stations in 26 villages in Argentina’s Cordoba province. Additionally, the project is designed to improve the economic and social conditions of the local population, reduce the prevalence of water-borne diseases, promote tourism, support the property sector in the beneficiary regions, and contribute to the efforts to achieve sustainable development goals. The project includes the provision of a reliable network to transport and sustainably distribute drinking water to the local population, with water distribution lines reaching a total length of 255km. Additionally, 14 new water pumping and filtration stations will be constructed, and existing stations will be upgraded to increase their production capacities. The project also includes building distribution networks in El Chaco town, including connections to homes, as well as the necessary services and advisory work for the implementation of the project and environmental impact studies.
